The type of shower valve you chose will be determined by what type of water system you have in your home. Gravity fed systems will require either a low pressure manual valve or a pump fitted to the system allowing high pressure thermostatic valves to be used. Combi boilers and pressurised systems will require a thermostatic style valve to help regulate water temperatures and provide safety from scolding. Always ask your plumber for professional advice with regard to your own system. In addition, other options including exposed or concealed installation; body jets; fixed heads; slide rail kits and diverters will also need to be considered.
As with shower valves it is important to note that certain taps will only be appropriate for high pressure systems. There are many types of taps for bath, basin and bidet - single hole or monobloc, 2, 3, 4 or even 5 tap hole sets which are available in an extensive range of designs to help add style to your bathroom.
