Zehnder

Zehnder is a subsidiary of the Zehnder Group in Switzerland which was founded by the Zehnder family in 1895. Originally the company was known for its light motorcycle development and then in 1930, Robert Zehnder invented the product that was to form the basis of the company’s future success, the tubular radiator (Zehnder Charleston). In comparison with other radiators at that time, this radiator was significantly lighter, had better heat conductivity, was more aesthetically pleasing and was more cost effective to produce. As the company has grown and expanded through the years, Zehnder has remained at the forefront of innovation. For example, it launched the first towel radiator (Zehnder Universal) in 1980, the first design radiators in 1984 and 2003 marked the start of a collaboration with Villeroy and Boch. Zehnder have an extensive range of bathroom towel radiators available in many shapes, sizes and finishes from the classic look of the Sfera Bow to the Roda Spa Asym which is available in almost any colour and finish from the Zehnder colour chart. In addition, Zehnder offer a range of practical and functional radiator accessories.
